Yorktown Battlefields

Having lived in Yorktown, Va for most of my life, 21 actually, I can say that I know the area inside and out. Along with that, I also know all the best spots that are reported to have all kinds of paranormal activity.

First off, of course, are the Yorktown Battlefields. Having seen the bloodbath from the war, its not surprising that these lands might have retained a bit of the energy. Beautiful landscapes are now all that is left from a time when people gave their lives to ensure our freedom. So here is a little background on the area.

The American Revolutionary War was fought between September 28th through October 19th 1781. The US fought with the French against British forces. General George Washington defeated Lord Cornwallis at Yorktown when he finally surrendered. After the aftermath just here at Yorktown, 80 US soldiers, 200 French soldiers, and 500 British soldiers were dead.

With these casualties, how many of them really left the Battlefield. Is it possible that some of these soldiers are still fighting this very battle even today? Having died a traumatic death, would they even realize that they may in fact be dead? Or has their energy been imprinted on the land and is playing back like a record player.

People who have witness paranormal activity have reported everything from seeing apparitions of soldiers to EVPs. EVP or electronic voice phenomena is probably the most widely gathered evidence at the Yorktown Battlefields. I, however, have not performed an investigation at the Battlefields so I can not personally say what voices may have been captured. I will in the future, once I have a full line of equipment and a full team, will investigate the area. (I'm waiting for 1 last piece of equipment)

Yorktown is full of energy and should be a fun and exciting investigation. This is your ticket to the ghosts that reside here. There will be more to come so stay tuned.
